The Entombment of Christ (1602-1603) was painted by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio. It was painted for the church Santa Maria in Vallicella. A church built for the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri. The copy of the painting is now at the chapel. Today, the painting is under the treasures of the Vatican Pinacoteca.
