ARTIST'S EXPRESSION
The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.
Art is contemplation. It is the pleasure of the mind which searches into nature and which there divines the spirit of which Nature herself is animated.
Art is the signature of civilizations.
Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.
Art is literacy of the heart.
Art teaches nothing, except the significance of life.
Art is the Queen of all sciences communicating knowledge to all the generations of the world.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Art is the child of imagination and gives life.
Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life.
Art is either plagiarism or revolution.
Art does not reproduce the visible; rather, it makes visible.
Art evokes the mystery without which the world would not exist.

Leonardo da Vinci
As an ordinary person, i really admire Leonardo da Vinci's art work. When I was a little boy he was one of my favorite painter. Even now, his masterwork is really an extra ordinary piece. I dreamed of a time that someday I can be like him. Someday, I hope that my masterwork will be also remembered.
Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519) was an Italian polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer,inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and a writer. Leonardo has often been described as the archetype of the Renaissance man, a man whose unquenchable curiosity was equaled only by his powers of invention. He is widely considered to be one of the greatestpainters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived.According to art historian Helen Gardner, the scope and depth of his interests were without precedent and "his mind and personality seem to us superhuman, the man himself mysterious and remote". Marco Rosci points out, however, that while there is much speculation about Leonardo, his vision of the world is essentially logical rather than mysterious, and that the empirical methods he employed were unusual for his time.
