Art #41: The Storm of the Sea of Galilee (Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn) 1633

The Storm on the Sea of Galilee is a painting by Rembrndt Harmenszoon van Rijn by the year 1633 and it depicts the picture of Christ with his disciples at the sea where there was a storm that hits the boat and they were afraid of what will happen to them. The painting was kept at Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum of Boston, Massachusetts in United States of America. It was sad to hear that the painting was stolen already by the year 1900 of March 18. This painting remains a history because it was created by a famous painter and also part of the history in the United States. Until now, the painting is still missing and not in the right place where it was taken.  In fact, there were around 12 paintings that were missing and stolen during that time and until now it is not yet found.

Art #40: Souvenir this Christmas (Arjay P. Yañez)

This photo was taken as a remembrance. It was December 13, 2011 when this photo was taken by Julie Ann L. Tan. Christmas is coming so near and this means that we need to get some remembrance and photography is one of the best way to grab an opportunity to capture every moments. This photo was done at Shoe Mart or known as SM City. People does call it Super Mall, Super Market, Sulod Merkado, Shopping Mall, Save More or whatever they say about it. But funny to hear those words. Well, reality bites on those things and I do appreciate the fact of being real. Have fun and enjoy every moments in your life. Especially, Christmas is one of the most memorable date because it was the birth of Jesus Christ. The savior of mankind.  Merry Christmas to everyone!

Art #39: Photography is an Art (Arjay Padilla Yañez)

This photo is just a form of an interest. The art of photography is very nice when you try to discover something from it. Lights behind it were the lights from the street and vehicles. And the parallel lines there were all metals. It is part of an interest as we all can say. Cagayan de Oro City is also one of the best place where you can took up some photos to collect. Actually, there are lots of sites on where you can shoot. Even in Puerto Heights, Macahamus Cave, Macahambus Gourge, Cagayan de Oro River, and many more. You will really can gather lots of beautiful spots and could see nice venue for photography trip. I just used my 1000D Canon SLR camera for this shoot and I edited a few things in here just like an effects with the use of the Adobe Photoshop CS4. Try to look the bigger picture of it and you'll just observe something creatively.

Art #35: The Atrium (Arjayart.Foto) Photography

This photo was taken by my cousin Rodz Padilla Ganob at Limketkai Center. It was just a plain trip or lets just say for fun only. Anyway, I love to edit photos and collect them as a remembrance. We cannot return the time we spent in this world and it is an opportunity to capture every moments that we want to take as a memorable event. Well, this photo will remind me of the things that we could appreciate at Limketkai Mall in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. It may be called a small mall compared to other malls in Asia or in the world but it is one of the biggest mall in Cagayan de Oro City. I used to spend a lot of my time in here just hangging around with friends or with my family as a part of spending time with them. Memories really matters and it takes time to do that.

Yummy Sunday: Lumpia (Filipino-Chinese Cuisine)

Another day about food. Well, this kind of Lumpia is a somewhat like a Philippine-Chinese style. I took this photo a long time ago. I still remember the birthday of the Nanuri International School Principal Mrs. Fancubit. This is just one among the foods prepared for that special day. I had a great time taking up photos and collecting the memorable event. Birthday is very common among us and when you talk about birthday, you will really know that part of it is about food. Because, when there is birthday. There will always be party and food are part of it. Hahahaha... I was full that time and I enjoyed the preparation of different kinds of food. Well, all I could say that eating is a nice hobby. Happy Yummy Sunday Everyone!

Have a Great Time

It has been such a long time that I posted something on this blog. Well, due to work and extra activities. I wasn't able to post more. I miss this blog of mine where I could put all the things that I want to post and show what I really want to show. Funny to say that for how many months that I've been focusing on work and leaving my blog behind. Anyway, while having fun of looking for something at google. I found this something that got my attention. I think this is known and very popular on the net. It is known as dealfun.comscam . Things are very nice to see when you look for something. I think I need to enjoy more things in life aside from browsing and searching on the net. Have fun guys and enjoy a lot. Till next time..

Art #34: Photo Editing (Arjay Yañez)

I was inspired when I was able to edit this photo. Well, this photo is about me and the special person of mine. She's July and I am August. The photo was taken at BHCCCI Sanctuary ground floor. A photo snapshot from a Silver Anniversary and Thanksgiving of the Church for over 25 years of God's faithfulness. Indeed, God is great. I am hoping for another 25 years. Well, we will be old that time... hahaha. I'll be 49 and also her. But, God is great and he remains faithful at all times.

AFTER
BEFORE

I'M BACK!!!

Welcome me coz I'm back... It has been so long before I posted something here. I missed lot of things in blogging. More than one month... Hoooo... Well, I was busy for work in school because I am teaching, member of admin, and at the same time school nurse in NANURI International School (Korean School). Well, I enjoyed and happy with my work there and it is really true that teaching is not that really easy. Patience is a virtue and every teacher should have that quality of heart to teach and share their knowledge for their students to learn. Blogging is also nice but there are times that I need to prioritize things and which is this work that I am focusing now. Anyway, this does not mean that I am quitting blogging. This means that I want to work on this together. Till next post... God Bless...

Art #31: Photo-Paint Like (Argie P. Yañez) Photography/Photo-Editing

This is another photo that I took from a school at Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. Well, it just caught my attention with its beauty and its form. Though, I edit the photo in its color and make it abstract as if it is not natural. Art is like that, making things unique and making things done in different forms. This will be my other new post for my Art collections. The thing is, don't limit your self on making things unique. Be creative and express it out. There is nothing impossible when you do it.
